Ron Paul Just WON the Iowa Delegates He “lost” in January

Today, Ron Paul officially won most of Iowa’s 28 available delegates to the GOP National Convention in Tampa.

Contrary to what just about every Mainstream Media outlet has put out since January, the delegates never could be won until this weekend, because those are the rules, the longstanding rules.

What was clear back in January, to EVERY non-biased, informed observer is that Ron Paul’s supporters completely SWAMPED the caucuses and since then, took control of the Iowa GOP.

You’ll NOT be seeing this on your television newscasts, at least not much mention of it.  How is Wolf Blitzer to begin telling you that story?

“Well, you see folks, since January we’ve been lying to you…”

Or

“Well, you see folks, we never actually knew what the hell was happening so we just kept talking and showing you pretty pictures so we could keep you staring at the screen and sell you a bunch of stuff…”

It doesn’t take much imagination to believe the GOP nomination wouldn’t be Romney’s IF Mainstream Media hadn’t spent more than a year telling their various audiences that a) Ron Paul isn’t a serious candidate and can’t make it and b) he loses every primary and caucus.

In reality, he’s been winning or coming close in most contests.  He WON the first contest.

They won’t tell you that.

WinLiberty continues to cover Ron Paul because Mainstream Media won’t.

Wingnuts in Ron Paul’s Iowa

WinLiberty is covering the Iowa State Convention HERE-scheduled to end Saturday, June. 16.  We have a link to Live Streaming happening NOW.

The Iowa GOP platform is to be adopted today.  At cursory glance, I’d say it’s a good bet the National GOP doesn’t want Ron Paul’s supporters anywhere near Tampa.

And no decent person could blame them.  The Iowa GOP, if a mirror, presents a very, very sorry image of who and what Ron Paul supporters really are.

Here’s an article about what the Iowa GOP, under Ron Paul, represents.

I’m talking moon bat crazy and just plain mean, with absolutely NO resolve to cut spending; rather, the proposed platform would INCREASE spending on the long arm of the law, the better to go after those pesky gays and anyone dumb enough to try and defend against bullying.

The Iowa GOP seems to be firmly in the hands of statists.

These are wingnuts, folks, pure and simple:

The Iowa GOP platform was written of, by and for wingnuts…and they are Ron Paul wingnuts, one must assume, since Ron Paul supporters dominate the Iowa GOP.

Here’s just some of what these wonderful Ron Paul “freedom fighters” have in store for the rest of us:

  • More birther lunacy, this time requiring that candidates for office satisfy documents requirements before the Paultards deem them suitable for public office.  EVER READ THE CONSTITUTION?  Show me where that is a requirement for office and I’ll put in with you.  Until then, you are a wingnut, Alex Jones listening Paultard who probably goes to church with Rand Paul (and no, that’s not a compliment either).
  • Ban on Same Sex marriage.  Back in the days of the Iowa campaign, Ron Paul imported an extreme bigot anti gay pastor from Maine whose job it was to find the real prime bigot ministers who could swing to Paul for the campaign.  A look at the Iowa GOP platform confirms, that probably was a shrewd move, and apparently Paul got plenty of Iowa’s anti gay bigots aboard his ship.

So, as the first state in the GOP nomination process and one which all of us Ron Paul supporters always knew we’d won, Iowa presents a mixed blessing.

Yes, our people are winning.

No, they are not all our people.  At least, not if they are the kind of people one would expect an overtly anti-gay minister to recruit.  And since Ron Paul never denounced the anti-gay tendencies of Iowa GOP voters when he had the chance to, when he was on the stage in Iowa, I’m thinking we’ll reap the bitter fruit sown by that bigot minister turned paid Ron Paul staffer and acolyte.

Hate gets you hate every time.

IF you are wingnut, listen to Alex Jones and want to go out with some buds and stomp some queers and get you some coons, yeah, Ron Paul’s Iowans probably are your kinda people.

IF you can read, have read the US Constitution, well, no…these people are kinda extreme.

There is a difference between one who supports Ron Paul because Ron Paul represents liberty better than others and those who support Ron Paul because they dig and bring out the worst in Ron Paul, the bigotry he tolerates.

I support Ron Paul in spite of his flaws and although I know he authored racist language in newsletters he published–and yes folks, he wrote that shit, and anyone with an ounce of common sense knows he wrote it and he knows who wrote the shit he didn’t write.

The guy isn’t perfect and he’s an old guy who is stuck on many crazy things from the past, things which good and decent Americans typically have rejected long ago.

Ron Paul never was perfect.  I never supported him because I thought he was perfect (and I was around for his first presidential run in ’88).

Like many older, kinda dumb guys Ron Paul holds on to some unreasoned grudges from his misinformed past, still wants to talk to the “right crowd” about the Civil War just like his bigot son seeks out the “right crowd” to bash some gays.

That’s why Ron Paul always has been very comfortable with the Mises Institute.  Not a hotbed of free thinking over there.

And look at Ron Paul’s son Rand, the bigot.  Take a good look and ask, who made him?

The gay bashing bigot Paul made forecast the kind of Republican Party he’s made in Iowa.

People who look for ways to go after spending on “bullying” while leaving in place spending on pigs who lock up minorities, well, those are bigots.  Those are Ron Paul’s bigots.  That’s Ron Paul’s Iowa, at least a great big chunk of it.  And yes, the wingnut Paultards DO also call to remove funding for anti-bullying.

Who ignores the Drug War when trying to cut the spending?  No one who is trying.

Who then goes and makes sure to try and cut spending for something as trivial as anti-bullying programs?  Wingnuts, Ron Paul wingnuts!

Then, look at this first platform of Iowa’s GOP, the state party Paul made possible.

Ron Paul, if it’s intolerance you crave, you’ve got it in Iowa, hell, it looks like they even surpass Texas already.

I don’t think you can call that a proud accomplishment.

I do know I will have nothing but contempt for Paul’s Iowa GOP and their bigoted ways, if in fact this language passes while they are in control.  Sure, there’s good stuff in the proposed platform too, such as the call for Initiative, Referendum and Recall (IR & R) language in the state constitution and the call to eliminate official opposition to medical marijuana.

However, liberty can’t be won piecemeal, can’t be achieved by throwing minorities under the bus.  You either get the fact that government oppression of gays makes gay people our natural allies or you don’t get it and have no future.  What’s more important, you represent no good future for those of us who do understand liberty.

For the most part, Americans have moved far beyond the hate, bigotry and violence which characterize the dimwitted sex obsessed Iowa GOP platform.  Choose that route, and you don’t move us forward and I’ll suggest you take us back.

It’s bad enough that Ron Paul hasn’t explicitly, clearly denounced these tendencies of GOP voters and at the same time largely has remained silent about the great scourge of the drug war.

So, all in all, I’m no more comfortable with the crew of Ron Paul cretins apparently now in charge in Iowa than I was with the previous Iowa GOP, from whence most of these idiots spring.

What’s the difference?

Where’s the beef Ron Paul?  After nearly 100 million dollars spent in 2 election cycles and with Campaign for Liberty THIS is what you achieve?

Anyone could have done that with a whole lot less.

Why in hell didn’t we all just support Michele Bachmann and that twerp Santorum?

What Ron Paul has achieved in Iowa appears to be no more than getting some of the homegrown lowbrows of the GOP to wave his pennant for awhile.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed that they are better than that, much better I hope.  I hope they’ll excise ALL of that from the platform and that the candidate himself finally will make clear that government has no place in marriage and bedrooms, that bullying in schools IS a responsibility of the state AND the feds to intervene and to stop (hell, we’re talking public schools here folks, and as of now the Iowa GOP says it has every right to take your money to educate their tykes and to decide, on their own, how to spend your money on themselves).

Rights exist for every individual and it’s not a step forward to grab power in the GOP and use it to work out on targeted minorities, to use taxdollars and government guns against your neighbors.  That’s not liberty by any definition, that’s a continuation of the GOP, the rotten, bigoted corrupt GOP.

It’s very, very clear to me that there is reason for concern.

It is a concern that’s not addressed by Paul’s admonition to treat the GOP with respect.

Even if he and his people are not responsible for and will reject this incredibly intolerant Iowa platform, this is the party he and they inhabit.

This is the same hateful, thieving GOP.

Here’s the Platform as proposed with a link to the current Iowa GOP Platform.

Note that they wish to ban Planned Parenthood advocates from speaking at public schools.

So much for free speech and hooray for content based discrimination.

They oppose “…infanticide, euthanasia and assisted suicide.”  I’m not sure why they choose to lump “infanticide” in with the other 2 subject matters, but okay, more reason to oppose them.

I’ve never supported Ron Paul because I want to be a member of his or any church preaching hate.

Ron Paul WON!  Details Near BOTTOM of post

In January, Mainstream Media covered the beginning of the Iowa Caucus process and declared first Romney and later Santorum winners.

Fact is, every campaign knew Ron Paul’s supporters totally swamped the Iowa Caucuses that day AND they knew that meant Ron Paul eventually would take more delegates than any of his opponents and quite possibly more than all of them combined.

There are 28 national delegates from Iowa.  Three are state party officials, including the Iowa State Chair, a Ron Paul supporter.  The others are chosen at congressional district votes today, Friday June 15th and tomorrow morning.

So, Ron Paul now is about to win WON! the Iowa caucus vote which Mainstream Media consistently has said really happened last January.

I still wish I could get some of what they are smoking.

Here’s Ron Paul’s Friday Statement

When Sanction of the Victim Becomes Suicide

Follow WinLiberty on Twitter & Like WinLiberty on Facebook.& Get our Newsletter

“It is a moral crime to give money to support ideas with which you disagree. It is a moral crime to give money to support your own destroyers.” – Ayn Rand

How many times can a victim sanction oppressors before it simply is suicide?

Senator Rand Paul urges his father’s donors to justify and to subsidize political depravity.

He now explicitly defends support for ardent drug warrior Mitt Romney because it means we might get a chance to discuss industrial hemp.

WinLiberty was proud to produce this short piece showing that alone among major party presidential candidates Ron Paul opposes the drug war…and always has taken that essential, principled stand.

In Ayn Rand’s final, major public speech she discussed sanction of the victim.

“It is a moral crime to give money to support ideas with which you disagree. It is a moral crime to give money to support your own destroyers.”

You can watch Ayn Rand’s talk here.

Most Ron Paul supporters quite properly have been confused and many are outraged by Senator Rand Paul’s endorsement of Mitt Romney.  In an attempt to quell the furor, the junior Paul just held another soft ball “interview” to an overly helpful Kurt Wallace where almost nothing of substance was discussed.  Almost nothing.  What the Senator made very clear is that he considers it necessary to subsidize immorality because otherwise it’s impossible to get anything done.

I also interpret the Senator as distinctly saying alliance with immorality is something his dad chooses all the time.  Listen to the interview here and decide for yourself if that is what Rand Paul says and believes.

Ask yourself if the Senator’s convenient and oh so mainstream Republican support of industrial hemp makes it okay to sanction the Republican nominee’s support for continuation of the drug war.

Watch another short film WinLiberty produced about the Drug War:

What is essential, inviolable principle and what is practical politics?  How much rape, pillage, mayhem and murder is okay before someone says it’s not okay?  How many sublime, shady and just plain slimy politicians can one climb into bed with before one is just a dishonest whore? And I don’t mean to impugn decent, hard working prostitutes by comparison with Senator Rand Paul.

I would have asked gay bashing Senator Paul some very different questions.

And I continue to ask: Where the hell is Ron Paul?

The Ron Paul R3volution always has been about principle.  It’s always been led by The Many — the thousands of donors and activists who ARE the movement, this cause commonly called The Ron Paul R3volution — not by some timid politicians and their self-serving political hacks.

It’s long, long past time for Ron Paul to come out and speak for himself…his stand ins simply can’t cut it.

This isn’t about party or party hacks.  This is about principle.

Romney Endorsement Controversy Continues to Fester

Folks still are speaking out, many in shock at Rand Paul’s endorsement of Mitt Romney.

From a recent article on PolicyMic expressing disgust at the endorsement:

“It is important not to get caught up in an improper attachment to a political figure. When people show approval towards politicians who engage in what they know to be bad behavior, they take on the role of an enabler. ”

article by Michael Suede-original, unedited post HERE

To that list now add Tom Woods, who uses the occasion to suggest personnel changes at Campaign for Liberty, the organization founded by Ron Paul and which currently is run by John Tate.

Woods reveals he previously has warned Ron Paul against listening to specific (unnamed people) who Woods believes are responsible for some of the recent, confusing actions of the Ron Paul campaign.

As he has for some time now, Ron Paul remains silent.  It leads one to wonder who is in charge of the campaign (asylum).

Ron Paul needs to do what his campaign never did.  He needs to communicate with his supporters, directly and to the point.

This doesn’t have to be a big deal.  The people paid to speak for Ron Paul have made a mess of it.

He needs to speak for himself.  Below is one of our films, Ron Paul Passion.  Ron Paul can and must speak for himself, before lessers do him harm.

The power and achievements of what some call “the movement” and others call R3volution or The Ron Paul R3volution never was about the campaign or the candidate.  As WinLiberty films have sought to document, it’s about the achievements of The Many.  The supporters, the grassroots.  They are the people who have achieved what has been achieved.

It’s the message and not the messenger.

We are proud to have documented so much of the essential message and the massive crowds attending Ron Paul speeches.

See all our Ron Paul films here.

And please consider making a generous contribution to our efforts to record this history,.

WinLiberty has upgraded our Ron Paul Speech film We’ve Got Your Back.

Here it is.  Enjoy!  And please share it with everyone you know.

Ron Paul is NOT god – and he just fucked up again

Adam Kokesh did this interview with longtime Paul ally Penny Freeman

It might or might not be your cup of tea.  IF you are a moron, and believe that Ron Paul is god, probably you won’t like it.

Listen to Penny, who has been there (like I have been there) and who speaks from the unique perspective of someone long inside the Paul world.

In the Paul family, it always, ALWAYS is the money.  Ron just took you off.

It’s what the guy does.

She’s telling some truth here.

Going into Tampa it behooves people to wonder.  Do you vote your conscience or do you vote as you are told to vote?

Jesse Benton (and other Paul hirelings are going to be there, telling you what to do).  Will you listen?  Do you have even half a brain?

Which kind of Ron Paul supporter is going to Tampa?  Idiots, who get all their news from DailyPaul and other lame, inbred sources or people who can think?

The Ron Paul campaign is over.  It’s long over.  It was sold out.  If you don’t believe that you cannot think and probably, you never knew anything anyway.

Did Ron Paul sell it out?  You betcha.

Hey, the guy hasn’t been seen in public since they told him not to appear.

Ron Paul sold you out.

He took your money and he left.

It’s disgusting.

What’s more disgusting is the feeling around that no one should question Saint Ron.

I question the twerp.  24 years in congress is NOT a tough job.

Ron chose that because he made more money doing that.

It IS that simple.  He’s also long been a really stupid office manager.  I’ll not go into that here, I’ll just cite his inlaw, Jesse Benton.

Hey, that’s your money, like I say, I never gave the bastard any.

IF you are going to Tampa and you can think for yourself, why don’t you ask Ron Paul some real hard questions?  He’s gotta explain why he laid down and why, why he’s surrounded himself with inferiors like Jesse Benton.

Ron Paul will not answer that question.  History proves that when pressed on financials, Ron Paul ALWAYS lies.

He’ll lie to you tomorrow or whenever he gets the chance to tell you what a wonderful fellow is Jesse.

Don’t believe it.

Ron Paul is owned.  He’s owned by the RNC.

He doesn’t deserve my support.

IF liberty is the end game, why did Ron Paul punt?

I’m not a dumbass (like the people Ron Paul hires, like Jesse Benton)

Still, it’s 1st down, the whole clock still ticking, and Paul punts.

I’m gonna keep asking till Ronnie babe answers.

He fucked up again.

Don’t give the guy one dime.

It is impossible to see any actual excitement in today’s GOP primary.

Below, watch one of our films on Ron Paul Speeches-How’s that for excitement!

You can view all our Ron Paul Speech films HERE.

That Davis event was just a month ago, as was the San Diego Speech.  Where’s the excitement?

Well, just look at the ballot, look at the preordained winners….

4 different people have asked me in just the last couple days if they “should vote”.

They figure since I work campaigns I ought to know, or something like that; I never actually have figured out why anyone would ask me if they should vote.  Why would anyone ask anyone?

Perhaps it is because for more than 1 year Mainstream Media has declared Mitt Romney the frontrunner, the presumptive nominee and other very fine things.

Anything other than what the Mutt is, which is uninspiring, dull, scripted and all in all no different than the bum in the White House already.

Ron Paul certainly has engaged, certainly has caught fire with a devoted following.

Today, however, in California AND elsewhere, he’ll get slaughtered again.

That’s not his fault.  It’s not my fault.  It’s not the fault of all those Ron Paul supporters who have busted their tails.

It’s the fault of people strolling freely about and wondering if someone can tell them if they should vote…for whom they should vote.

Today, once again, a majority of the voters walking out of the polling place won’t be able to name the incumbent congress critter for whom they most likely again cast their ballot.

There are no exciting television or radio commercials to report, not in the presidential race anyway.  There are 2 statewide propositions, one to clip smokers for another buck a pack and the other is a scam pretending to install even stricter term limits when in fact it’s doing just the opposite.

The cigarette initiative is a huge moneymaker for some political consultants, as tobacco companies and related entities in that industry are fighting it, as are smokers and anyone with half a brain.

Still, we’re talking voters, so you don’t measure by one full brain per person walking around and finding their way into polling places.

You’re dealing with the likes of people who not only supported both Gulf Wars, but elected an amoral presumed cretin like George W. Bush, re-elected him, let him stay in office for the full 2 terms then elected the next criminal, the current occupant of the White House.  AND, they did it all in what they perceive to be their own best interest.

They did it because “he’s kinda like us” or some such lunacy.

This is the same class of people who jabber about contrived issues  ( such as gay marriage – an issue which wouldn’t be an issue if people didn’t use government to poke their noses into the private activities of others ), about whatever the latest thing on TV is, about nothing really.  They are parrots.  Not all voters are parrots but enough of them are.

Idiots.

When you are talking voters understand this:  a huge chunk of ’em can’t walk and chew gum at the same time.

Idiots rule.

We get what we get.

More people know who Snookie is than can name their congress critter.

Don’t blame the consultants.  Don’t blame the crooks like Obama and the other venal idiots like Romney.  Blame the voters.

They are in charge.
