We Killed Yamamoto
[at a certain point in World War 2 some guys decided to kill the Jap]
For those of you who do not know, in World War 2 a decision was made to assassinate Admiral Yamamoto.

The inestimable Aaron Sorkin wrote this great bit for The West Wing
Sometimes the better part of valor means leaving the field.
Sometimes there is no honor in remaining.
Sometimes it’s simply necessary that we listen to the better angels of our nature.

It hasn’t worked out well.
Leave the poor people alone.
Admiral Yamamoto was a human being
[and yes, he was a Jap]
